Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Svitlana. I am originally from Western Ukraine, along with my parents, husband, and three children. My mother had a passion for cooking, baking, and preparing beautiful dishes. She passed on this knowledge to me and taught me everything she knew about the subjects. 

 

    As a mother of a large family, I spent a lot of time cooking and baking. At home, we enjoyed a wide range of traditional Ukrainian dishes, such as borscht, cabbage rolls, pierogi, pancakes, soups, and various pastries.

 

    However, upon immigrating to Vancouver, Canada, I began to notice that although this city offers cuisines from all over the world, there was very little representation of Ukrainian dishes. Combined with the increase in demand for takeaway food due to the pandemic, I saw an opportunity to share my culture and cuisine with others by providing traditional, homemade Ukrainian food.

 

    I hope the taste of Ukrainian cuisine will bring you just as much joy and! satisfaction as it has brought me and my family.
